SEU Velocity is an intensive innovation program in sports technology, launched by Saudi Electronic University to empower innovators and entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and turn them into applicable solutions within a practical environment that supports innovation and execution.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can join the program? +
Entrepreneurs, students, developers, designers, content creators, and sports professionals are all welcome. No prior startup experience required.
Is the program in person? +
The first 3 days (June 28 – June 30) are fully virtual. The qualified teams are selected on July 1 and come to Riyadh for the final 3 days (July 6–8). Only finalists need to travel to Riyadh.
How many members can a team have? +
You can take part solo, or as a team of 2 to 5 members.
How are projects evaluated? +
Projects are assessed against criteria including: innovation, feasibility, added value to the sports sector, prototype quality, and the quality of the final pitch.
Who owns the project rights? +
Intellectual property rights remain fully owned by the project creators.
Are there workshops? +
Yes — the program includes workshops and mentoring sessions to help develop your project.
Can I submit more than one project? +
Yes — you may submit multiple ideas, with a separate registration per project.
Can participants from outside Saudi Arabia register? +
Yes. Virtual days (1–4) are open globally. Finalists must travel to Riyadh for Days 5–7. The program does not cover transportation, travel, or accommodation arrangements.
Which language is used for pitches? +
Pitches may be delivered in Arabic or English.
